Michael Hevesi Exhibitions Michael Hevesis work has been influenced by dance and ballet. It also incorporates his lifetime enthusiasm for harlequin figures, clowns, court jesters superhero archetypes. He studied anthropology at the University of Kent and his output includes elements of his academic work, particularly his keen interest in the shadow puppet theatre of Indonesia. He has designed and developed primitive masks for 30 years and first exhibited his work at Barcelonas famous Quatre Gats cafe & gallery. Between January 1979 and January 1995 Hevesi exhibited his works on at least 18 different occasions. 1/1979 (January-February) First one-man exhibition at the Quatre Gats, Barcelona. 2/1985 (October) Submitted The Cat Horse bronze to Riverside Studios, Hammersmith, London W6. 3/1986 (June) Second one man exhibition at the Ateneu, Sitges, Spain.
